what's up next?

Its been a month in this school, officially. :(
I am not excited about the next few months so much because of all the busy work I have to get done. Well, except for my 18th BIRTHDAY. Oh, and the KINGS OF LEON concert!!! Those things are something to look forward to, and I cant wait. Hopefully I don't die of all the pressure that I feel from all of this college and internship and all the homework!

This is the second day of my senior year. As a senior I thought I would feel a lot more connected. Right now i feel there's a lot more pieces to this puzzle than i ever dreamed of. To become someone others look up to and what not seems like a bigger mystery than what i thought. Im really hoping for this year to become a closer step to independence, but i still dont have a clue on how to begin this journey. Its almost as if it has started off without me. aybe it is too soon to expect anything but i just felt it would be different this time. Some people seem a lot more grown up and with a greater sense oflife or at least pretend to have it. On the other hand, theres still a lot of imature people around. Some building drama, others boasting themselves, grasping attention from all they can, even some cultivating ignorance more than ever before or just like their younger days. It all almost feels like beingstuck on yesterday. How much longer till i feel that things have just clicked?
